We recognise the growing need for swimming lessons in our community, because of this, since Term 4 2021 we have put aside $20,000 towards sponsorship for lessons. This is nearly 800 lessons that have been completely sponsored by SwimTech.

Criteria of Application

REFUGEE SWIMMING LESSONS APPEAL

At the beginning of the year (2022) SwimTech Albury raised just over $20,000 to fund our “Refugee Swimming Lessons Appeal”. This means that we can offer 20 spots each term for an entire year of lessons!

This appeal gives an opportunity to those who are new to our community and cannot swim. By eliminating the barrier of cost, providing goggles and swimming caps we have been able to make swimming lessons more accessible than ever before.

We would love to thank our generous sponsors as this would not have been possible without them. SwimTech Albury matches any donation from the community as we believe in the longevity of this program.
